unless running business suite on hana, doubt processing power limiting factor. isu (like sap modules) database intensive. billing , dunning runs reading huge amounts of data database , processing on application server side. biggest bottlenecks have seen database , network related. increasing number of cores little improve performance.

if in fact running business suite on hana, database , xs application server runs on top of optimized parallel processing, have no idea if abap code-base of isu have been updated take advantage of architecture.
