Easier Way to Format Excel Data For SQL query -


i receive requests query sql server database based on data sent me in excel spreadsheet.

i looking more efficient way of completing these types of requests current setup:

currently in order complete request following:

copy excel column containing data placed in clause.

paste data text microsoft word.

do find each paragraph marker , replace ', '

then surround entire clause parenthesis enter in clause.

does have suggestion more efficient way of accomplishing same task?

query excel spreadsheet directly:

use excel format data:
