i need update number of wikipedia articles location info geonames via coord template in wikipedia. there web services allows updating of wikipedia location data?
i doubt there such service. if want update wikipedia pages en masse, need follow wikipedia's bot policy. important part of bots (programs make edits automatically) have approved.
so, think need do:
- write bot edits articles (possibly using 1 of bot libraries).
- get approval bot.
