fft - Performing 2D fast fourier transform in R -

i want know how perform 2d fft in r. can see function fft want in 2d. there function available fft2 in matlab?

as pointed out in comments, fft can handle single or multi-dimensional input. docs:

when z vector, value computed , returned fft unnormalized univariate fourier transform of sequence of values in z. when z contains array, fft computes , returns multivariate (spatial) transform.

i think documentation confusing terms (since r array can have 1, 2, or more dimensions), trying clear.
