the question seems simple google delivers thousands of results edited 22 wordpress .php files , not single files contains words "read more" still on frontpage of wordpress (index.php) says "read more" on buttons. can't help, i've searched in on 150 files of wordpress installation , theme, no "read more" still appears....argh!
the read more being used the_content() in index file the_content('read more...); , either change text or delete together.
