php - MySQL randomly dies -

i have issue mysql database randomly go , die obviously. when occurs , try use mysql in terminal occurs:

can't connect local mysql server through socket '/var/lib/mysql/mysql.sock' 

what causes this? if restart service works splendid until next random occurance when stops working again. open ideas.

you not mentioned os, mysql version, xampp/wampp here. there reason error. if os windows.

1. if have installed xampp more 1 in various driver of system, error may happen
2. if installed skype, may using mysql default port 3306.

clear browser cache , try it.
