javascript - I'm new to d3, is there a simple way? -

i'm new d3. i've been developing few years, managed track down d3 after seeing great little tool in action. http://gia.guim.co.uk/2013/03/video-game-violence/index.html

the problem is, i've found far, d3 doesn't have same following jquery. documentation , tutorials aren't there much.

i'm unfamiliar svg, looks pretty decently usable.

i wanted reach out , see if has hello world specific example?

i'd start 2 sets of data , show connections between them, feels decently large operation jump right into.
