facebook - Submitting new OpenGraph Action for review without deploying it to the live environment -

i running website opengraph actions, has 2 separate facebook apps associated (a "live" , "approval" app).

this allows make breaking changes app during development without affecting live.

i have made 1 such breaking change, , need submitting live, cannot publish live environment until opengraph action approved (because is, definition, breaking change).

i have clones of both action on both approval server , live, , both systems are, in essence, identical (except updated code , error reporting).

would acceptable facebook submit action review via approval server, using approval app verdict on action in main app action accepted?

in previous cases not issue them testing actions on live because facebook integration not yet enabled (so wouldn't break existing functionality).

when make changes open graph actions, not available end users until approved. means users able use "non-broken" actions, if make breaking changes them.

another scenario (which pretty obvious still state):

if have breaking changes in application code dont want deploy, can create staging environment , deploy site there. so, action approval submit staging server's address facebook approval team. require staging server must have access app. means staging environment must sub domain of production. eg. lets production www.example.com, staging should staging.example.com.

hope helps.
