i wish test android application against different versions of android os on physical hardware. need comes testing interactions of program 3rd party hardware (barcode scanners).
in order "switch" between android oss. assume in order "reimage" phone, have root phone set particular os version various images.
there seems discussion on how root phones, i'm curious if there easy/standard way developers (e.g. standard hardware allows process happen quickly/easily)? if not, suggestions on way proceed appreciated.
unfortunately, other rooting phone , flashing w/ various oss, don't have lot of options. company keeps tone of devices on hand running various different versions of android address exact challenge.
